Rare AT/Gasoline/40,000 km Isuzu Bighorn Plaisir Extremely popular camping SUV! 3-row seating for 7 passengers/4WD vehicle capable of towing trailers Thank you for viewing. Private seller, second owner. I'm a classic car enthusiast and purchased this as a second car due to its rarity, spacious interior, and my desire for a 4WD, but I'm reluctantly selling it due to financial needs and buying it without my wife's permission. I use it for outdoor leisure activities a few times a month and drive it for about an hour once or twice a week. No aggressive off-road driving. It was previously registered as a fire command vehicle, so it's been well-maintained with no warning lights, no issues with the battery or air conditioning, low mileage at just under 40,000 km, and I believe it can continue to be driven reliably for years to come. History and Accessories - Second owner (first owner: registered as a fire command vehicle for public use) - Price includes recycling fee - Includes maintenance notebook, service inspection records, audio manual - Includes owner's manual, ISUZU nationwide service network guide - Registered for 950 kg trailer towing (trailer hitch member/ball mount) - No modifications/no accident history/no repair history (fully repainted due to fire department specifications) - No accidents or repairs during my ownership Main Equipment Options Three-row seats/full auto air conditioning/final gear ratio/ABS/bronze glass/power door mirrors/catalyst control/shift-on-the-fly/power windows ◆Maintenance History/Condition - Kilacoat (exterior coating) - Regular engine oil changes - ATF change (including filter/gasket) - Brake pad replacement - Brake hose replacement - Fan belt replacement - Battery replacement - Air conditioning filter replacement - ABS overhaul - Wiper blade replacement - Tie rod end boot replacement - Ball joint assembly replacement - Drive shaft boot replacement - Tire condition: soft with good tread, no damage, cracks, deterioration, or wear - Undercarriage/muffler: no major damage or holes - Engine starts well - No warning lights - 4WD switching functions well - Power mode/winter mode switching functions well - Interior lights function well - Factory cassette deck & radio function well Driving Performance Since purchase, there have been no critical malfunctions related to driving. Due to the low mileage and former government vehicle status, it's well-maintained with good engine condition and acceleration, smooth automatic transmission shifting, good suspension, and no signs or indications of trouble. I've used 4WD and power/winter modes for camping and mountain roads, and they switched smoothly without issues. No black or white smoke. Drives straight with just a light touch on the wheel. Runs great. Interior/Exterior Condition Regarding operation, the door mirrors make a slight noise when opening/closing but function without problems. Honestly, given its age, there are some dirt/scratches (one scratch over 10 cm on the driver's side step). There are traces of fire department decals (not sticky, but faint lettering visible) and siren mounting holes (repaired). No major dents or rust on the exterior. On the other hand, with low mileage and being a former government vehicle with thorough maintenance inspections, I believe it's a vehicle that can be loved for a long time. Bighorn Usability Being an older vehicle, the body shape is square with minimal decoration, resulting in high headroom and very spacious driver's area and rear seats. The second-row seats fold up and the third-row seats also fold down, so you can easily fit even a 2.8-inch bicycle. It can carry luggage and up to 7 people, so it can be used similarly to modern vehicles. Regarding driving performance, it has strong acceleration when merging, can drive comfortably in the passing lane with plenty of power compared to similar modern vehicles, and has a substantial, weighty ride unique to older vehicles that moves forward steadily without any wobbling. With its power and large cargo capacity, it's comfortable for city driving, long trips, highways, and mountain roads, making driving very enjoyable. It's easy to drive and extremely practical. Selling Points - Approximately 1.5 years of vehicle inspection remaining (until January 2025) - Rare vehicle that holds its value well - Valuable regular gasoline specification - Gasoline engine acceleration and power - Isuzu parts are affordably priced and reliable (much cheaper than repairs for modern high-performance vehicles) - Bronze glass windows (third row and back with smoke film) - Former government vehicle with perfect maintenance - Unmodified & good condition, so passes vehicle inspection smoothly - No sunroof, so no water leak concerns - Registered for 950 kg trailer towing (includes trailer hitch member/ball mount) - Part-time 4WD, power mode and winter mode provide excellent performance on snowy roads and muddy terrain Perfect for: - Those wanting to customize a low-mileage vehicle in good condition - Those looking for an RV that stands out from the crowd - Those wanting to enjoy the outdoors with family - Those wanting to tow boats or other watercraft in the future Regarding Transaction Please note that since this is also listed on other sites, it may end early, and I ask for your understanding that transactions will be conducted freely at appropriate prices on those listing sites. While I cannot accept complaints about the condition or quality of the product, I will maintain a gentlemanly approach that values harmony in transaction etiquette. I will flexibly accommodate through dialogue until delivery. I will coordinate to meet your requests for preview dates and delivery. Please contact me in advance. Terms and conditions of other listing sites apply. Immediate delivery possible after procedure completion. Final Note This was a luxury vehicle priced over 3 million yen at the time, with excellent quality, equipment, suspension, and engine. It's not loaded with electrical components, and each part is very simple with few breakdowns and inexpensive repairs. If you just keep replacing broken parts, it's such a sturdy vehicle that you could drive it for a lifetime. The robust body has high rigidity, and I believe this is the only vehicle where you can feel the atmosphere and dignity of a fire command vehicle from that era. As a former fire command vehicle, it's been fully repainted. I added stripes (cutting sheet) to the body according to my taste. Thanks to improved wrapping technology, you can customize it to your preferred design affordably. With only 40,000 km, there's a long life ahead, so why not customize it to your liking? I also recommend it for those looking for an original vehicle that won't be duplicated by others. Thank you very much for reading this far. Since production has ended, you may think "I might not be able to drive one anymore." Also, in the classic car market, vehicles over 30 years old are said to gain premium value and increase in worth. If you drive 10,000 km per year for 10 years, reaching about 150,000 km, considering current market values and conservatively estimating, it won't drop below half the purchase price, and considering the classic car market value in 10 years, it may maintain current value or even exceed it. Since production ended over 20 years ago, these vehicles rarely come to market. Furthermore, finding one in good condition that meets your requirements is extremely difficult. You could purchase a nice-looking vehicle with hundreds of thousands of kilometers, or purchase a low-mileage vehicle with a long life ahead and gradually customize it to your preference. I would be very happy if we can make a good connection. Please consider. Other Notes I've honestly described both good and bad points that I've noticed. I believe you'll be reassured of the condition if you inspect the actual vehicle, but I've tried to evaluate it strictly because I don't want you to be disappointed. However, I'm not a professional, and there may be defects or deterioration that I didn't notice or don't understand, and there may be oversights or errors. Condition is subjective and it's a used vehicle, so please understand it's sold as-is with no warranty. Please inspect the actual vehicle as much as possible. (Actual vehicle inspection/test drive welcome!) Also, please note that the mileage will increase as I'll continue driving until purchase is confirmed. If you have any concerns, please ask questions. I will answer sincerely to the best of my ability. Thank you for reading to the end. I look forward to your inquiries and consultations.
